  3. One more kebab pizza and one vegetarian pizza

    I made four balls of rye dough—two for yesterday and two for today. So, I had to make two more pizzas for Sunday!

    🍕 Pizza 1:Tomato sauce, grated mozzarella cheese, red onion, kebab and feta

    🍕 Pizza 2:Tomato sauce, grated mozzarella cheese, red onion, paprika, cherry tomatoes and blue cheese

    The dough wasn’t as good as it was yesterday. I didn’t use the very strong 00 flour this time, which is probably the reason. Still, the pizzas turned out great and there were no leftovers.

  4. Couple of Kebab Pizzas

    Today I made some pizzas using rye dough that I started making yesterday. I also made simple tomato sauce and I will post the recipe for that later.

  5. Slices from Dough: 6.8.2025 – Rye dough

    This time, I wanted to make a rye dough. The recipe uses 400g of 00 flour and 100g of Finnish rye flour.

    Each dough ball weighs 200g. I just remembered that previously, I made 160g balls from this same dough, but now they are bigger, so we’ll see tomorrow what kind of results this dough yields!

  6. ...and there's also a salted #donut, a typical recipe from my region, #umbria (#italy). There's #pecorino #cheese and #guanciale in the #dough.
  7. Okay, Maybe I was getting a little excited about bread 4. I think I really nailed it with this one! I added some sun dried tomatoes, and a little feta cheese. I also think I finally got the gluten and windowpane tests right with this one.

    It makes delicious salmon grilled cheese sandwiches! I couldn't resist

    Bread 5 is coming.... but I ran out of whole wheat bread- and the once voracious starter (tripled in size on its feeding for bread 4) is now growing tired of bread flour. I gotta get different flour, so I added in 1 percent commercial yeast for bread 5. Basil an rosemary are in the next loaf :)

    I already ate half of the loaf- the other half is for crit night- tomorrow at 6pm at Urbanglass

    Hi Maria👋

    I think #Oats/#SteelCutOats would be a great addition to #bread #dough, and/or hearty #winter #soups and #stews. It doesn't have to feature prominently, but a handful here, a handful there, to see what suits you. If you like the results, add more next time...😉
