"Right Place, Wrong Time" is a song by American musician #DrJohn. It was the first single from his sixth album, #InTheRightPlace, and became his biggest hit single. During the summer of 1973, the song peaked at number nine on the U.S. #Billboard #Hot100. It is ranked as the 24th biggest hit of 1973. In Canada, the song reached number six. Some of the lines came from contributions by #BobDylan, #BetteMidler and #DougSahm.

Sir Douglas Quintet, Live From Austin TX, 2006 on New West
Doug Sahm’s Sir Douglas Quintet recorded in 1981 but released in 2006 (on CD/DVD) / 2018 (vinyl) – live on Austin City Limits. (In 1981 that means the old Studio 6A at UT Austin, not the new Moody Theater).
This was part of a reunion tour after the quintet split up in the early 70s when Sahm put out his solo album.
My copy via a private sale is the 2018 three-sided LP version with one side etched, pressed by MPO.

Today's #TuneTuesday theme is songs with cities or towns in the title or lyrics. The official hash tag is #LondonCalling but my entry contains songs that refer to another city, #Helsinki.
Helsinki and Stockholm are connected by a popular ferry line, which is nicely reflected in this song, co-written and sung by one of my favorite artists, Doug Sahm:
Sir Douglas Quintet: Meet Me In Stockholm (1984)

Leevi & the Leavings: Jos Helsinki on kaunis (1989)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VPW4WJHGNM0Unfortunately the all-time ultimate Helsinki song doesn't mention the name of the city, but here it is anyway - originally written by Tony Hatch and Jackie Trent as "Beautiful In the Rain", but with superb - and completely different - Finnish-language lyrics by Juha "Junnu" Vainio:
Fredi: Kolmatta Linjaa takaisin (1968)
