I'd hoped to get this (and the others!) done WAY sooner but we're feeling in a place where we can finally work on things again without either feeling we have a load of things I need to, or events, or just feeling physically in pain. So here's to getting back on this!

Time for the yearly summer pic of DO! And I've not drawn Rigel in a while so wanted to throw him in the background too. For reasons :)

This took longer than I expected. I started it before the heatwave, and other than streaming I was kind of 100% on it almost all waking hours >_> I know the inking took me about 7 hours, and I got through about 3 albums worth of music finishing today so. Yeah. I wish I put an actual timer on this >_>

I've never done art based on my shiny bat VR Chat avatar so I figured to do it for once, and maybe some of these changes will transfer to the regular bat too like wow maybe I'll finally include the propatagium, the membrane between the hand and body on the top side of the arm, on the regular bat 'cus that looks REALLY cool and cape-like. (Technically I should be drawing it on any creature that flies, even DO, but it's an extra detail that can make things a little messier to work with etc. and is also kind of easy to forget lol)

The propatagium is also kind of based on how Morghus has it on his wyvern and bat with it connecting more along the chest than completely running along the top and hooking over a bit.

It's Pokémon Day and I wanted to do something I guess! It's also the first test of "Am I back to speed doing art on my PC since the whole technically homeless escapade?" which I think the answer is yes.

The other reason is that ObstaDO (this is a much better name why did I keep calling it ObstaDOon other than an obsessive attempt to try and match the full name? :V) hasn't been the face of my AD accounts elsewhere despite being the username (GoopGoonThing) so I'm fixing this.

SO it came up about raichus and I mentioned I've not done art of DOchu in YEARS so I figured I'd remake a pic from 2019

There's no other deepness to this actually that's a lie, I've decided that the more DOchu uses goop abilities (e.g. big goopy hands) the less consistent it is, which is why on the 4th one all of it is shiny and drippy. Otherwise it's usually still fluffy in non grey/yellow parts (though the cheeks are still fluffy).

Merry holidays, I've got fangs still.

Fun character fact: Simon's birthday has always been Christmas Day, or if I eventually decide if in OC canon that isn't applicable it'll be the Winter Solstice. Simon, and its twin, do have a smidge of resentment for effectively having the "forgotten family birthday". Maybe since turning Simon doesn't care, or can make people properly say happy birthday.

(Anyway my birthday is in summer just to clarify that XD)
