So, that was Dorum / Dorum-Neufeld. I can cross them off my list, and not bother with them ever again. I had a good lunch, and a helpful person sold me postcards, but aside from an impressive tower and a few fishing boats, it wasn't worth walking 14km there and back.
Walking? Yes, because they do not have a functioning bus service or a friendly customer travel service. Just not worth the effort.

Discovering that Dorum is nearly seven kilometres from the coast; that the bus service to the coast is only through ordering a taxi in advance; taking photographs of farmer spreading dung on their field.

There's a replacement train for the delayed one, not announced, but I see it pull in. Due to leave at 08.01, 5 minutes late and with a chance for my connection, it departs at 08.11. No chance.
Still, we're on the way, and I don't have to sit in Bremen and wait.

Ach, und einen Blick auf den Nachbarn hab ich euch auch noch mitgebracht. Man kann herkommen so oft man nur will, es sieht jedes Mal wieder anders aus. Heute trug das Meer Fönwelle und ein kleidsames Paynesgrau.

Unser #weserradweg endet heute in #Cuxhaven nach einer kürzeren Fahrt von #Dorum am Deich entlang. Mein Fazit für die ganze Strecke: Es hat sich wirklich gelohnt. Sehr unterschiedliche Landschaften und Sehenswürdigkeiten. Gut ausgebaute Radwege. Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Menschen im Norden. Jetzt nehmen wir Empfehlungen für die nächste längere Radtour entgegen. Wenn euch die Berichterstattung auf #mastodon gefallen hat, freue ich mich über ein Like oder Retoot.
