🎮 Day 15 - Tell Me Why by DONTNOD Entertainment

Thanks to @nocci's reminder, I started playing Tell Me Why last night. I picked up the first episode quite a while ago, since it's been free during Pride Month for the past years, but I never actually sat down to play it.

I must say, I missed the episodic, LiS style vibe in a game. It feels almost a bit slower even than other, similar games I've played, but in a good way. I love walking around and exploring what's there. I like the dialogue options. I'm digging the story. I finished episode 1, bought the other two today and can't wait to finish it.

The game deals with a tough story, but still, it felt like it introduces you to the characters and their past in such a gentle way that I personally didn't feel unsafe, or rattled. Sure, emotional, but that's what it's supposed to do.

Also, what the heck, a trans character in a game, and the game is about them? I can't celebrate that enough. All I can do is thank the creators. It makes me want to check out their other games too. ☺️

Die Titel von #DontNod find ich schon krass. Die Charaktere, ihre Mimik, die Themen und manche #Dialoge sind schon einnehmend und berührend.

Nicht jede Story oder Entscheidung ist mega deep oder episch - und manchmal schrammt man knapp am Klischee vorbei. Trotzdem gibt es immer iwas zu entdecken oder relaten. Nicht zuletzt durch die Atmosphäre und den Soundtrack. 🎶

Wenn #Zocken nicht gleich ballern ist, kann's nem guten #Buch locker das #Bier reichen.

Life is Strange (LIS) : nouveau jeu terminé. Cette fois-ci c'est purement narratif, le genre de jeu avec lequel j'aime bien finir ma journée, sans stress... j'ai hésité à aborder cette série de jeux, mais finalement sans regret, j'ai bien aimé le concept.

Avant celui-là, dans le même genre, de type film narratif, j'ai fini "Tell me why", et "LIS : True Colors", et le suivant sera "LIS : Before the storm", suivi de "Lost Records: Bloom & Rage".

Il est important de relayer et soutenir les travailleurs et travailleuses qui se battent actuellement pour leurs emplois et leurs conditions de travail.
C'est ce qui est en train de se passer chez Don't Nod. Iels sont en grève reconductible depuis lundi vu que leur direction, après avoir fait n'importe quoi, ne pas avoir écouté les alertes des équipes, veut maintenant licencier 1/3 des effectifs, tout en ne négociant pratiquement rien. Mais derrière leur lutte, iels se battent aussi pour nous. Les patrons sont solidaires, ils agissent de concert et s'entraident. Si ça passe chez Don't Nod, vous pouvez être sûr qu'il y en aura d'autres.
