Today I read most of a book I'm reviewing for Library Journal, applied for a freelance gig, went for a walk, got my fiddle out for the first time in a few weeks, and spent a solid half hour listening to pika and hoary marmot calls in preparation for a citizen science volunteer stint I've got next week.

Damit kommt weniger des nährstoff- und sauerstoffreichen Wassers in die Ozeane, was wiederum zum Verhundern von Teilen der Meereslebewesen führen würde.
“Our modelling shows that if global carbon emissions continue at the current rate, then the Antarctic overturning will slow by more than 40 per cent in the next 30 years – and on a trajectory that looks headed towards collapse."
