Dear crisp munching, cider swigging, Mini Melton Mowbray Pork Pie packing, Red Bull guzzling ignoramus, stop throwing litter out of your vehicle window — you’re making a hell of a mess of the countryside. 😡
If you can’t find a bin, take it home with you. Alternatively, store it in that cavity where most people keep their brain.

A lazy KFC customer decided to fling their litter out of their car window on a country lane despite passing a litter bin!?
Come on Fast Food outlets, start printing the names or car registration numbers of customers on packaging to discourage people from littering!

Day #11 of cleaning up litter along my #Commute route.
Another 18 days has passed since my last cleanup.
I expanded my territory again (as well as cleaning up my existing stretch of road), and managed to get another tire, a television, some siding, and three more bags of miscellaneous trash.
So far:

When I hike, I always pick up trash as I go. The place I was at is fairly good with litter, but there were still a few things to pick up... including half a joint.
I was a good citizen and picked it up. The wrapper I didn't trust, but the contents were still good and very effective after dinner and before bed.

Day #10 of cleaning up litter along my #Commute route.
Even with my expanded territory (a 1.2 km stretch of rural road), I only managed to find one bag's worth of trash along the whole thing. My last maintenance cleanup was 18 days ago.
So far:

🚮 37 Bags of trash -
No more tires in the ditch, and things have grown in a lot.
This is one of the spots I cleaned up, and I enjoyed a rest stop here on the way home from work today— perched on that thick end piece that's supposed to crumple /just so/ when crashed into.
Please, please: If you see trash, pick it up and get rid of it... even if it's not yours. The more of us do it, the easier it is to maintain.

I expanded my reach a bit and cleaned up a little farther along my route. I got all of the junk in the picture, plus 2.5 bags to add to yesterday's measly half a bag.

It's been a few weeks since I was last out, and only a half a bag needed to be cleaned up along the whole damn thing.
I was expecting much worse than that.

Day #7 of cleaning up litter along my #Commute route.
I made myself a hard-to-miss #Smoking spot on my ride home from work.
I cleaned everything up, and now I have a place to stop mid-commute and relax with some #Cannabis in the shade.
I was on my bike, so the bag that I filled up is still out there. I'll get it tomorrow when I drive past on my way out of town.

Day #5 of picking up trash along my commute route.
➡️ 13 more bags of trash
➡️ 14 more tires (only 13 pictured, I found one more later)
➡️ 3 rugs that the council said would be dug out with a backhoe weeks ago
➡️ 1 door with chipping, leaded paint cleaned up (along with the contaminated dirt and grass around it)
➡️ 5 people stopped to say thank you.The council will supposedly be out to pick things up tomorrow.

Day #3 of picking up litter along my commute.
Someone from the local council showed up to investigate the piles of tires that I made on the side of the road (plus the toilet), but someone else had already cleaned everything up.
I had a chat with the man, and now I have official dumpster access at the township building.
He's also going to bring around a backhoe on Monday to get this big wet rug out of the ditch.

Day #2 of picking up litter along my commute route. I've found quite a lot of these old beer cans with the "pull tab" on them, and I'm starting to wonder how many decades this litter has been accumulating.

Every time I ride/drive to work, I have to pass so much fucking litter.
I want to rant about idiocy. I want to rant about laziness.
As the litter is mostly related to soda, alcohol, tobacco, and lottery tickets, though, I have to accept that society's general desparation is a factor in this.
I cleaned up the woods. I cleaned up the road. I am very frustrated with people.
