Audie Murphy made some great westerns. The Duel at Silver Creek (1952) is not one of them. It does however look great and is fun in a movie junk food sort of way. Don Siegel directed so there's plenty of fine action. I enjoyed it.

Don Siegel's Charley Varrick (1973) stars Walter Matthau as a crop-duster pilot and part-time bank robber. Charley has inadvertently stolen Mob money and he's in big trouble. A rollercoaster of an action movie and it’s pretty dark. Good movie.
