A new day, and a new hope for a life like other human beings live. Night is supposed to be a time for rest after the exhaustion of the day, but life in the tents is different. There is no rest, day or night. As soon as darkness falls, the fleas and insects come out, leaving our bodies covered with painful bites and stings.
People tell us to buy insecticide and spray the tents, but we can barely afford the basic necessities of life. We don't know what to prioritize anymore: firewood, cooking oil, food, cleaning supplies, or now even insect repellents and pesticides.
We are exhausted from this harsh reality. In Gaza, every day brings a new struggle just to meet the most basic needs. May God ease our suffering and bring relief to all the people of Gaza.
