Donald Tusk rozmawiał z Timem Cookiem. Wśród tematów inwestycje Apple w Polsce, bezpieczeństwo dzieci i polska Siri

Premier Polski, Donald Tusk, poinformował dziś za pośrednictwem serwisu X o przeprowadzeniu telekonferencji z kierownictwem Apple. W rozmowie uczestniczyli również minister finansów Andrzej Domański oraz szef KPRM Jan Grabiec. Stronę Apple reprezentowali natomiast Tim Cook oraz John Ternus.

Jak napisał premier, rozmowa dotyczyła przede wszystkim przyszłych inwestycji Apple w Polsce oraz kwestii związanych z bezpieczeństwem dzieci w internecie. Sam fakt bezpośredniego kontaktu najwyższych przedstawicieli polskiego rządu z kierownictwem Apple można uznać za istotny sygnał, że Polska znajduje się na radarze jednego z najważniejszych koncernów technologicznych świata.

Apple już inwestuje w Polsce

Choć Apple nie prowadzi w Polsce własnych fabryk czy centrów projektowych, firma jest obecna na naszym rynku także poprzez inwestycje związane z transformacją energetyczną. W ubiegłym roku Apple poinformowało o wsparciu nowych projektów energii odnawialnej w Europie, w tym farm fotowoltaicznych w Polsce. Inwestycje te są częścią strategii firmy zakładającej osiągnięcie neutralności węglowej w całym łańcuchu dostaw oraz wykorzystanie energii pochodzącej wyłącznie ze źródeł odnawialnych.

Niewykluczone, że podczas dzisiejszej rozmowy omawiano możliwości dalszego rozwoju podobnych projektów w naszym kraju. Polska pozostaje jednym z najszybciej rozwijających się rynków technologicznych w Europie Środkowo-Wschodniej, a jednocześnie ważnym miejscem dla inwestycji związanych z zieloną energią.

Czy wraca temat Siri po polsku?

Największe zainteresowanie wśród polskich użytkowników Apple wzbudziła jednak informacja, że jednym z tematów rozmowy mogła być polska wersja asystenta głosowego Siri. Takie doniesienia pojawiły się w komentarzu Jana Grabica do jednego z użytkowników X.

Apple nigdy oficjalnie nie zapowiedziało wprowadzenia języka polskiego do Siri, jednak temat regularnie powraca od wielu lat. Polska pozostaje jednym z największych europejskich rynków, na których asystent głosowy Apple wciąż nie obsługuje lokalnego języka. Na razie nie znamy żadnych konkretów ani deklaracji ze strony Apple. Sam fakt, że temat miał pojawić się podczas rozmowy na najwyższym szczeblu, może jednak dawać polskim użytkownikom pewne nadzieje.
