一般來說event開出<Dominate>，雙方至少會拼一次15分。但這一次我起手<Witch>，就註定了雖然依舊是長期戰，卻是比較痛苦的那一種。

對面很自然地以<Swindler>反制，早早就<Curse>滿天飛，導致雙方都沒能成功建立引擎。別說是14元15分，連基本的8元6分都湊不出來，最後在泥淖中用<Anvil>拿<Estate> call game。

<Fountain>是《Empires》擴充中的雞肋。拿三張<Copper>得到相當於兩張<Province>一張<Duchy>的15分，乍看公平交易，童叟無欺。實際上《Dominion》遊戲中，節奏幾乎是絕對的鐵則。

如果一方壓縮了牌庫，另一方不跟，後者通常會因為效率不彰輸掉。所以<Fountain>派得上用場的狀況，大概是開出來的牌無法壓縮牌庫，或者購買數衝高，可以一口氣把刪減的<Copper>補回來。

但有經驗的玩家心中有數，通常會防後期突襲，所以往往就變成跟游泳跑步一樣，你做什麼我做什麼而已。

除非其他行動卡開得很差，只要對手拿<Lurker>就得跟，防止肆無忌憚地挖墳。

而這盤出現和<Luker>搭配有奇效的<Hunting Grounds>，更是非拿不可。想不到對方沒跟，初期看起來問題不大，我穩定領先時，抽了四張<Luker>在手---全部trash <Hunting Grounds>一口氣拿七張<Estate>與一張<Duchy> call game。
