Ce soir je me suis fait la version 1987 de Masters of the Universe. C'était quand même plus punchy que la version Amazon.

L'époque des bodybuilders super heros de péplums et films douteux. 🤪

Dolph Lundgren en gentil, c'était une révolution...

Je n'avais bien entendu pas fait attention à l'époque, mais on retrouve beaucoup d'autres films dans celui ci.

A commencer par le générique et sa musique clairement pompés sur Superman.

Des scènes qui m'ont fait penser à Flash Gordon. Un peu de Retour vers le Futur. Un final digne d'une mort d'un empereur galactique, les éclairs en moins.

Une scène post générique prouvant que Marvel n'est pas le premier à l'avoir fait.

A ver... que ya me lo olía. 😂

⚔️He-Man ha resultado ser un pequeño despropósito.
Chiste tras chiste, muchos de ellos con ese humor tontorrón que parece obligatorio meter ahora aunque no venga a cuento.
Y el protagonista... no podía dejar de pensar que era el hermano gemelo de Carlos Baute.
Ya con eso me sacaban de la película.

Sigo sin entender esa obsesión por convertir a todos los héroes en adolescentes para atraer al público adolescente.
He-Man nunca fue eso.
Se echa de menos un tipo con presencia, con cara de haber partido unas cuantas espadas y pelo en pecho.
No un niñato haciendo el payaso media película.

Lo mejor, sin discusión, son los tres minutos de cameo de Dolph Lundgren.
Ahí sí pensé: "Este sí es He-Man".
No voy a comparar las dos películas porque entre los efectos especiales hay décadas de diferencia, sería absurdo.
Pero si hablamos del personaje, me sigo quedando con Lundgren de calle.

Y luego está Skeletor.
Sí, es Jared Leto.
O mejor dicho... casi.
Como anda un poco vetado en Hollywood por sus historias, parece que han decidido esconderlo todo lo posible para que apenas se le perciba

¿Entretiene?
Bueno... sí, pasa el rato.
¿La recomendaría?
Pues no.
Si buscas una película de aventuras que se tome un poco en serio a sí misma, aquí no la vas a encontrar.
Otra víctima de esa manía moderna de meter humor absurdo cada dos minutos, hasta en escenas donde lo único que consigue es romper el ambiente.

Dolph Lundgren and Cannon (freaking CANNON) understood the assignment better than whatever the washed out gritty remake they're offering for Masters of The Universe now.

"Castle Falls" aus der #tele5mediathek ist ein Hau-drauf-Action-Streifen von und mit Dolph Lundgren. Es geht um Geld, um ein Abriss-Krankenhaus und, unterschwellig aber für jeden Europäer gut wahrnehmbar, darum, dass das US Gesundheits- und Sozialsystem komplett fürn Popo ist.

Guter Film. Kopf-aus-Action zwar aber gut umgesetzt finde ich.
