O'Riordan had one of those voices that pierced into me.
Her death was far too early.

Heard a cover of Linger in a shop last night. The vocalist did a competent job, but it reminded me what a big job it would be to follow Dolores O'Riordan, not to mention the orchestration and production of the original.
RIP Delores.

Geez, what an amazing debut album. I’m not sure if I should be embarrassed to admit that my intro to this band and album was via the soundtrack for the 1998 film You’ve Got Mail, which opens with “Dreams”, or that it took me about a decade or so to realize it was the same band as the amazing “Zombie”.
Anyway, if you haven’t had the pleasure of listening to this one yet, you’re in for a treat. And whether it’s your first or thousandth listen, perhaps follow it up with The Cranberries’ Tiny Desk concert from 2012, which includes “Linger”. Dolores O’Riordan was such a gem.

Nice compilation of many reactions to a song and video that always hits me in the feels. #DoloresORiordan had one of those voices that has a direct connection to my soul, especially when combined with such powerful lyrics. #AURORAmusic is often compared to her, probably mostly because of that yodel-like flip to head voice, but also that emotional connection!

Il concerto di quella sera al London Palladium non fu un evento come gli altri.
Fu il commiato da parte di Dolores O'Riordan a quei fans che avevano sostenuto lei e i suoi Cranberries in tutti quegli anni di grande musica.
Fin dagli esordi di quella band irlandese.
Non fu l'ultima esibizione della cantante (che morirà il 15/01/2018).
Fu l'ultimo con il gruppo che l'aveva resa famosa e, per certi versi, immortale.
