I'd rather be reading the Dolmenwood Campaign Book (it is truly a thing of beauty) tonight, but instead, I have to work. Software releases don't test themselves!

The Dolmenwood Campaign Book is a big boy (at 464 pages). Best not drop it on my foot!

Wir haben gestern unsere erste Nachteulenrunde beendet. Wir haben das Abenteuer Die Wintertochter von #Dolmenwood gespielt.
Es war wirklich sehr witzig. -

3d6 DTL #Dolmenwood Ep 23, exclusively on Patreon! Snerg and Odysseus are intent on stealing the Starling, heedless of the potential consequences. With newly acquired intel, it seems likely that an atacorn is at the heart of Dreg's malaise. Back to the Smokehouse!

Congrats on the Ennie @KeithAmmann! For anyone wondering, Daggerheart won a lot (Best Game, Best Rules, Best Free Game (for their Quick Start), and Product of the Year [Silver]), as did Dolmenwood (Best Setting, Best Monster Book) and Crooked Moon (both the Standard and Ultimate edition, with the latter winning Product of the Year; I actually don’t know what this is).

I'm really impressed with the level of world building in the holy spells section of the Dolmenwood Player's Book. Normally, my eyes glaze over when it comes to pages and pages of spell descriptions, but at least in this section they delve into the setting's major religion, the Pluritine Church, by associating each spell with a saint, providing an associated legend with that saint, and then a list of the saint's patronage. I wish more games did similar things.

Kleines Dilemma (bzw. (1/2)

3d6 DTL #Dolmenwood Ep 16, exclusively on Patreon! Roads? Who needs roads? Not this merry band. Nothing could possibly go awry by tramping through the tangled forest toward the Woodcutters. Most assuredly, 'twill be merely a pleasant jaunt through enchanted glades.

In my YouTube channel, I only review or mention products or game rules that I've played or at least own and read cover to cover. I've been a big fan of Old-Schoo Essentials for 2+ years, and recently got Shadowdark (and love it). I'm also a BECMI grognard who cut his teeth on the purple box Basic Set (Moldvay) and AD&D.
Should I get Dolmenwood and add that to the mix? Is it different enough to be worth the time/expense?
