Went down to get grape leaves to make a new batch of dolmas/dolmades and also found it was time to pick a few bunches of grapes. First harvest ever. The grape vine is two years old. Already a real blessing.

I think basically I’ll follow this recipe. I like the lemony version more than a tomato version. And I’m inclined to use lamb mince instead of beef (sorry to the vegetarians out there).

Vrijdag is natuurlijk borrelplankdag, met vandaag een lekkere variant bomvol Griekse hapjes. Voor deze borrelplank maakt Hugo Dolmades, feta in filodeeg en tzatziki met wortel. Yamas!

Our #tomato harvest has produced #fruit of a range of sizes. Here’s one of the biggest of the crop this year so far. Also, in the background of this image, you can see ripening #grapes and the #vine #leaves have already provided a good source for food in #dolmades.
