I have come to #Dolgellau just for a look around. There is a music festival on this weekend, #SessiwnFawr. It’s nice to see a little town busy with people, and plenty of pubs and restaurants doing good business.

Good morning everyone!
Today, I want to share my love of #Wales with you for #StDavidsDay.
Some people need to be able to escape into woodland. Some people need the coast. Me, I need mountains.
Fortunately, Wales has all three in abundance :)

Off for a week in sunny #Dolgellau via a night in #Shrewsbury to do a bit of #Parkrun tourism.
Hoping to do a #SlowWays walk / review from #Barmouth to #Dolgellau -
A throwback pic for #ThickTrunkTuesday - tall conifer trees line the river Gwynant, near Abergwynant, near #Dolgellau in #Wales -- but this one was a particularly large specimen. Perhaps some sort of pine?
@johnl is 6'3/1.9m for scale. Daisy-dog had a rather thick trunk herself but enjoyed that walk - what with all the squirrel smells and streams to play in. Lovely area.

❄️🚗 Poor driving conditions reported on #A470, between #Dolgellau and #Mallwyd. #snow

Not the easiest of conditions for my last day on the #hills of #NorthWales today. 40mph gusts and drizzly rain made hard work of an ascent of Gau Graig along its rugged northeastern ridge. #Dolgellau appeared to be getting better weather far below. I'm obviously getting old as I had the sense to abandon hopes of Mynydd Moel and Penygadair.
