Needless to say, this is interesting and valuable.
I wonder how this approach could be applied to Richard Gabriel's famous "worse is better".
I can't summarize it properly here, but in a sentence,
this is a thesis that
a partial solution that is available now and that can be improved later
often wins
over a complete solution that takes a long time to be produced. -

You are so right. About their values.
This is not a group of people who can think about #PublicService in a meaningful way.
This is not a group of people who have allegiance to concepts like #constitutionality, #TruthTelling, #ProceduralJustice, or #DoingTheRightThing. They are not there to serve the country or the #BestInterests of *all* of its people.
I'm ashamed, as a US citizen, to acknowledge this; however, it does seem to be the case.
