Right after we killed Jack, I cancelled his Chewy auto-ship order, which sent him treats, ear cleaner, and flea meds.
They asked why I was cancelling and I selected Other and typed in that we had him put to sleep.
I was floored to find this nice card arriving yesterday. I already liked Chewy.

I just hung up the phone with my wife.
Newton, our rescue #Dachshund , passed away in his sleep last night.
We don't know how old he was, but he started off with us afraid, and became a good boy. I do hope that he knew he was loved before he passed...because he really was.
I'm sitting here crying.. and I still need to drive from Chicago to Milwaukee this morning to do an install.
Today is not going to be fun.

@tomnorthfilm yeah, it's a great lens for the pawtraits. I got a few good ones. My favorite for portraits is the 100mm, but the 135 works better for action shots. (one day I'll get that 85 f/2)

So, #DogsOfMastodon, what are some palliative care options for a dog suffering from a yeast infection on their paws? She's licking/chewing her feet raw, and while she's on antibiotics, and we're waiting for the cytology report, I want to make my girl as comfortable as possible, ideally without physical barriers like booties or cones, which will only stress her more. She's already on Cytopoint, Apoquel, and Allercept.
