Little ratbag🐀 💼 Tato, the smaller black dog decided 4.30am was a good time to scratch at my bedroom door & ask to go outside. Stagger out of the room all bleary & larger 🐀 💼 is all excited because I’m up. I let them out, close everything up again & go back to bed. Just settling down, loud scratching on the metal flywire door - little black 🐀 💼 is wanting back in 😕. Can I ignore it, hard scratching on hard wire - no I can’t 😩. Up again 4.45am, let in the dogs, go back to bed. Settle down nice & snug - a few minutes later a part of me becomes fully awake - body says - oh hey, I see you’re awake how about we go to the bathroom. Little 🐀 💼 & big 🐀 💼 all excited again, it must be breakfast time, feed them & go & put the kettle on & make a cuppa - I’m up for the day at 5am & it’s around 3c with the top reaching 12c & I feel 🥴 even after the cuppa.

I've found the last photo I took of the #fox #jigsaw. It was in 2023 and we were spending a week #dogsitting for our son and a jigsaw was one of the alternatives to reading and the TV. It stayed like that for at least a year.Zoom in and you can probably make out the plainness of many of the pieces. I just wish I'd taken a photo of the box. I recall that we returned it to the jigsaw exchange at our local church, which is where we got it.

Unfortunately, our house stinks!Came home from our trip #dogsitting in the #NewForest last week to a foul odour.
Know from experience that some creature has died somewhere within the fabric of the #building and it could take up to six #weeks for the #smell to clear.

I haven't taken a #BBC #WeatherWatcher photo since we moved house last October. So now we're in the #NewForest #dogsitting I thought I'd take one only to discover that I took one when we were last here in November.

For the last few days we've been at our son's #house, in the #NewForest #dogsitting while he's on holiday celebrating his partner's 60th birthday in #SanFrancisco and #lasvegas
This is the kind of #dog sitting I enjoy. The #instructions say there's no need to #walk them as the #garden is big enough for them to get all the #exercise they need.
