Dogitude, is the word that defines an expression of gratitude from a canine. If you have ever had a dogl, you know this is a thing.Dogitude, the look on Findley's face as she looked up at me from the bed while chewing on her first raw-hide treat, formerly wrapped in irradiated chicken. I tell ya, life don't gets no better than this. She would express that more eloquently than me, but she has manners, and will not talk while her mouth is full.

Glenn Canyon Park is really very pleasant around 7-7:30am. Lightly populated with humans, birds chirping, breeze through the eucalyptus... I really enjoy morning walks there. But... The dog's appetite wasn't great for a while, but now is back. Breakfast is the highlight of his day. So, instead of enjoying a pleasant walk in the park, he poops, stops, and wants to turn around and go home for breakfast. "I will go no further."

Puppy Problems part II
It lasted a lot longer then I thought it would. Back and forth, different rooms, upstairs and back and many successive trials of running up to me with the toy in her mouth and me unable to give a Smacko to her!
She found this less than hilarious -- me not much, I was cracking-up (on the inside of course, no need to humiliate a learner).
And the time did come when the problem was solved with no help from me. We are both older now.

It will sit still and lend me your ear. "It makes a humming noise!! Mortal DANGER I tells ya! Woof!"
Okay, done, next ear. "Oh, Okay!"
Back and sides quickly! "It hums, but this feels okay. Where's my Smackos credit card?" Maybe it's in your pocket?

It's fetch: I throw it -- you bring it back, I throw it again, -- rinse and repeat.
But the game doesn't work if you bring it back, give me a look and run away with it, jump on the footstool, then to the sofa/couch/Chesterfield, pick it up, drop it and run back to me. without the toy!
Also, sitting beside my crying and barking is not a recognised solution, unless your first name is Don.

Howdy Fedi peeps, I'm hella(?) sleep-deprived and unable to take a nap due to #DogFather responsibilities, so I'll grind some #Minecraft and start #OnePiece for the first time until I do feel like passing out.
Bouncing around the idea of getting into #GuitarBuilding or #AmpDesign again, the former more likely bc I've studied it longer and already have a draft list of specs; just need to learn drawing software to get templates printed.
What are y'all doing this weekend? -

Imagine, Someone puts something down in front of you that is bigger than your head! Something that you have never seen before, some kind of animo, but not from a can.
Give it a really good sniff, it smells kinda good. Your keeper comes along and shows you that if you pull stuff off of it, Oh My Dog, you can eat it!
Barking & crying at it doesn't do much, but sink your teeth in and you get the idea, not too much though! We are not animos, you know.

Findley got mugged by a very happy lady on the street today. Lots of pets and cooing. Findley, looked deep into her soul and gave her a good sniff. Never underestimate what a dog's nose can know. Then she jumped up and gave her a big lick on the nose! The lady was so happy as started to sing, "Kissed by a dog!" She may not wash her face for a week.
#Dogfather I never get mugged by ladies wanting kisses -- not on the street anyway, unless I'm married to them, which is fine for me, BTW. Lick

Findley, as well as being a very good girl is also an acute observer of everything. So, singing to her totally captivated her! Sing to your dog in gentle tones. It's magic.
