13 days ago, my webspace provider #dogado gave me an ultimatum to update everything to #PHP 8.1 at least or to pay for support of old versions. Migration of my ancient code to mysqli was pretty straigh forward (once I had figured out, how to keep file encoding to latin1 in #vscode), @dokuwiki was of course ready as always, the rest so far was mainly small stuff. The only big bummer: @ownclouders never implemented support for PHP 8, so I will probably move to @nextcloud later today. Wish me luck.
