CW: Shouting into the wind about irresponsible dog owners.
All dog owners I've encountered say theirs are kind, including those whose dogs bit me; "Oh that was weird, he doesn't usually do that." Oh you don't say, I guess it's alright then. Surely a child will be able to defend themself just as well—irresponsible schmuck.
Unless one has trained their dog like a sheep-herding Border Collie, use a leash. Better yet, don't get a pet.

A 6-month-old girl in the Houston area died Tuesday after a dog attack, according to the Baytown Police Department, which said two dogs belonging to the infant's parents were seized by animal control.

And whilst supporting the #royalmail strike - there were 1673 dog attacks on their hard working posties last year.
Why is there not an national outcry?
