I am so impressed with the 4 silver and 2 bronze award groups on this weekend's Duke of Edinburgh award expeditions. They have managed to improve their navigation noticeably between Saturday and Sunday. They are managed to pack, eat and leave by 8 without prompting too. Usually, there is at least one who needs encouraging to get up.
Throw in some lovely weather and it has been a great weekend. Managed to see some deer too.

Things I did not expect from this weekend's Gold Duke of Edinburgh expedition:
I would drive over 300 miles around Brecon Beacons national park.
I would become "tic tock famous" thanks to one of the gold groups making videos as their project. That was 70k likes in 24 hours.
I would make friends with so many sheep.
I would lose a game of chicken to a chicken.
I would manage to get 7 young people motivated enough to walk 20km a day for 4 days with star burst alone.

Dnes v Praze proběhlo předávání ocenění Mezinárodní ceny vévody z Edinburghu (DofE), kterého se zúčastnilo 215 mladých lidí. Notice how ahead of the #onlinesafetybill this #ICO statement, the press (and even the statement to a lesser degree) is framed as "Age Verification Service - Good, #Gambling Bad) ?
The truth is an Age Verification Service Provider took data sold to it by #DofE and uses it to offer Age Verification Services to Gambling Companies (to prevent under age gambling) .... and some how that's the Gambling Industry's fault!
It's almost like like they are protecting Age Verification Systems and scapegoating the gambling industry
