This study is a couple years old but found only 28% of football players didn't have CTE and that concussions aren't associated as much as blows to the head (n=631). Each year of football increases your odds of getting cte by 15%. Every 1000 blows to the head increase your odds by 21%.

Kennt ihr "Dodgeball - Voll auf die Nüsse"? Den Film von 2004?

Gut, die cineastische Qualität will ich hier nicht diskutieren - ABER mein Sohn spielt seit kurzem Dodgeball bei den "Tyrol Turtles" ... dem einzigen Dodgeball Verein Westösterreichs.

Und DIE organisieren 2026 einen "Dodgeball Beach Cup" am Tivoli. Und ich hab mir gedacht: Ich mach das wie der Kerl im Rollstuhl im Film - such mir ein paar nerdige Typen, mach daraus eine Dodgeball Mannschaft und gewinne das Turnier ;-)
