Well, I think I've worked out the talking points that the new crop of DNC shills have been given.
It's Obama. Obama, Obama, Obama. Wasn't he great. Such a wonderful, brilliant black President that the Democrats gave us. Wars? Assassinations? Bailing out the banksters while he let the rest of America hang from an economic noose? New phone who dis?
That, and Russia. Russia Russia Russia. Marcia Marcia Marcia. Russia controls everything. Fear the Russians. Beware the great Russian bear. He'll eat up your babies. And he controls Trump.
Trump Trump Trump.
I swear, it's like the DNC has hired every mental defective in the world and sent them online to repeat their talking points incessantly!
Sorry, this is all getting me into a really strange headspace. I need a nap.

Another shitlib/DNC shill/Brock employee stood up for America, voting Blue, and the establishment-as-is before immediately blocking me.
But I'm not going to let her/him/it have the last word.
There's NO ONE more contemptible than someone who upholds politicians and a system that genocides children. Make no mistake: these people are just as much fascists as Trump, Netanyahu, and the IDF. To them human life is nothing but a commodity to be freely extinguished in exchange for power.
These "people" are no longer human beings, if they ever were. They're monsters bent on exterminating humanity.
Sometimes I think it would be a good idea to keep a list of them, so they can be tracked down by Nazi hunters and punished after the revolution.

As far as I'm concerned every one of them should be hanging from a gibbet right next to the oligarchs that they support, whether they know it or not.
They are willing participants in the extinction of the human race. There can be no forgiveness for that, ever.

I need a hashtag. Can anyone help?
I need a hashtag for comments on posts by people who are supporting the DNC, either intentionally or as useful idiots. We're seeing more and more people who are actually claiming that the Democrats will make everything "normal" again, and reminding us that Obama and Biden and Kamala Harris were SO much more "moral and respectable" than that crude and foul-mouthed Trump. Somehow they are completely oblivious to the fact that Obama and Biden and Kamala supported the surveillance state, supported the extrajudicial murder of anyone in the world including children, and supported the genocide of Gaza. That the Democratic Party itself is a wholly owned subsidiary of the oligarchs, just as the Republican Party is. That they play the good cops to the Republicans bad cops, but they are •just• as fascistic in the end.
So... What would be a good hashtag to identify posts and posters like that? #DNCshills ? #DNChypocrisy ? #DNCtrolls? #Neoliberal ?
None of those seem exactly right. I'm hoping someone smart out there will be able to come up with something more apropos.

It never ceases to amaze me how easily Democrats overlook or ignore their leaders' support of the genocide of children. They seem to think that it's just bad manners or something to point it out. Instead we should focus on how tasteful and well-mannered the Bidens and Obamas were.
Pay no attention to those thousands of dead children in the corner!
And then they have the nerve to think that they can somehow guilt or persuade us into supporting their next genocidal DNC stooge.

You're not worth taking seriously. Either you work for the DNC, or you're a useful idiot for the DNC. Either way, you should be ashamed to claim that your antifa.

Funny how they always run straight to the Russia thing, isn't it? They're such good little robots. In this case I don't think the person was a paid shill, actually; just a useful idiot. But the effect is the same. Anything to avoid dealing with reality. -
People who believe that we can end fascism just by voting *harder* for the Democrats never seem to notice that the Democrats only allow fascists to run.
They must be either incredibly gullible, or more than a little self-deluded.
Come think of it, that's a great way to spot a DNC shill: anyone who tries to get you to believe that voting for a Democrat can in any way make things better, other than cosmetically.

Ran across another DNC shill who fully exposed their agenda recently. Unfortunately this one I had been following, but that's over now.
I should capture that interchange, come to think of it. They posted something about Republicans having brought us fascism. I pointed out that the Democrats had been helping them do that all along. So they said that was the stupidest comment ever and blocked me.
That's a classic way to identify a DNC shill, of course; They constantly post about the evils of Trump and the Republicans (which is fine), and the posts might often even be good.
But there is a curious gap in their posts. It's always strictly about how evil the Republicans are. And usually unsaid is an implication that once the Republicans are gone, the Democrats will make everything "good" again.
That's no accident. If they were to make it explicit, people might question it. But by leaving it unsaid and merely implied, they try to sneak that notion into the subconscious of the readers.
Republicans = BAD
Democrats = GOODOnce you make it explicit as I just did above, the ridiculousness of it becomes evident. Point out got the Democrats have been full and active partners in getting us to this state of fascism, that the Democrats have acted as a backstop against any correction of the movement towards fascism, and that they depend on the very same oligarch fascists for funding and setting their policies, and the DNC shill will call you a Russian agent, a fascist, or a purist. And you'll be blocked.
The Democrats are as much the enemy of the people as the Republicans, if not actually more. It's more personal for the Democratic leadership; their job is to play the left on TV as inevitable losers, thereby discrediting the whole concept of leftism in the narrative of the American media.
And the shill always says "Oh, if only". If only we had a supermajority. If only we didn't have Manchin, or Fetterman, or Sinema, or whatever rotating villain we are using this week. If only we weren't always out played. If only the parliamentarian hadn't said no. If only there wasn't the filibuster. If only...if only...
"If only" NOTHING. The Democrats have been doing exactly what they want to do, exactly what the oligarchs order them to do. Failing. Never making a single major step forward. Destroying any possible challenge from the left. Destroying even their own pseudo leftists such as Bernie and any other challengers to corrupt right-wing Democrats.
They're all corrupt. They're all fascists. But the DNC shill thumb tacks angel wings to their backs and pretends that the whole problem is just a few bad apples.
Sound familiar? They say that about cops, too. Oh, if it only weren't for the few bad apples who spoil their otherwise spotless image! Who are you going to believe, the DNC or your own lying eyes?
They don't deserve respect. They don't respect us. They see us as gullible fools to be tricked and lied to. Smash them—block them—mute them—point out their lies. Just never waste time trying to engage them as if they were sincere. Because that's the last thing they will ever be.

How do you spot a DNC shill or troll? I have an article I wrote years ago about that; I'm going to update it and post it here soon, probably tomorrow. But if anyone has any suggestions, I'm definitely eager to hear them.
Just to be clear on the terminology: A shill is someone who is paid by the DNC, a PAC, or a subgroup to be an online activist targeting progressives and leftists. A troll is a useful idiot who serves the same cause out of what I will laughingly call "conviction".
In either case their purpose is to sow discord and doubt on the left, encourage factionalism, and sheepdog as many people as they can into the DNC fold. If they can't corrupt or take over viable leftist/progressive groups online, they will do their best to shut them down.
They have decades of experience at this. I've been watching them do it for more than 30 years now. They have put hundreds of millions of dollars into attacking leftists online over that time. Apparently they have nothing better to do with their money.
I happen to have an excellent troll sense. It surprises even me. I can tell when someone is being disingenuous, and when a group or its leadership has been compromised by the DNC. I couldn't tell you how many groups I have either been banned from or have watched be destroyed by hostile DNC action.
Given that we are going to see a tsunami of DNC shills and trolls online in the coming months, it's a good idea to be aware of the telltale signs. Spotting a troll isn't usually difficult, once you know what they are likely to say.
But it's late, so I'll continue this tomorrow.

Have you ever decided not to follow someone because something seemed off about them? And then you find out that your gut instinct was right, because they turn out to be horrible people who support genocide or something like that? DNC shills, for example?
Yeah. Once again I'm patting myself on the back for having chosen not to follow someone who subsequently proved themselves to be a genocide-supporting scumbag.
I'd have unfollowed him instantly, but I'm glad I don't have to bother. Funny how people like that give themselves handles that seem to indicate that they are anarchists or leftists, but turn into lap dogs of the DNC when elections start to loom!

How do you handle BlueMAGA trolls and DNC shills? Do you have a preferred method or technique?

@Shivviness @aral I'm pretty sure that at least *some* of the "you should have voted for Kamala" trolls here are paid BlueMAGA shills. The DNC has been deploying them online for decades, mostly through David Brock and his various organizations such as "Correct the Record".
They buy out progressive and leftist groups where they can and shut them down. Otherwise they have a variety of sleazy ways to attack groups and shut them down, such as flooding them with trolls or posting CSAM to them and then reporting those groups to the site owners.
There are also unpaid BlueMAGA activists, of course. I call them "useful idiots". I assume they outnumber the paid shills, but I don't have solid information on that. We do know that the DNC spends tens of millions if not more on online ratfuckery, particularly in the months or year leading up to an election.
I've been online since the '80s. And I've been political all my life. So I've seen all kinds of things over that time. One thing that's clear to me is that the DNC is the primary enemy of the working class and leftists online.

@DemocracyMattersALot And what about the Democrats who voted to create the surveillance state? Who stood by while Obama gave himself the sole power to murder anyone in the world, and used that power to kill a 16-year-old American citizen who hadn't been accused of ANYTHING - much less convicted?
What about the Democrats who constantly, constantly, CONSTANTLY refuse to implement a national health care system (or even Medicare for all) while they and their families get free health care for life, paid for by OUR TAX DOLLARS?
The Democrats who voted to give billions to ICE? And to Israel, KNOWING that that money and those weapons would be used to mass-murder and maim children in Gaza?
Pretending that all the evil will go away once the Republicans are gone is a sick joke. The Democrats are owned by the same fascist billionaires as the Republicans. If the choice is between Blue fascism and Red fascism, I'll take NEITHER.
And those who try to manipulate the public into supporting Blue fascism are as guilty as the fascists themselves.

Is it just me? Or Mastodon? Or do a HUGE number of people understand that both American parties are hopelessly fascist and corrupt, and need to go?
I've been online for a long, long time, going back to the days of Usenet. And it seems to me that there are a lot more people who see what I've known for a very long time: we're facing fascism, and capitalism must end.
There are still some BlueMAGAs here (especially lately), but nowhere near as many as there used to be on Facebook and Reddit.
