#TIL that #Tanktics was also made by #DMADesign (now known as #RockstarNorth, famous for #GTA). Today I also remembered that game exist, and that I kind of liked it at the time.

On the one hand, there are plenty of “you are a cursor in a strategy game”, on the other, there are not enough of them. And they are also all different from each other.

I knew I'd seen that #DMADesign picture before, and dug this out of my archives. It was taken for the #Dundee Courier 29 May 1997, on the occasion of DMA's flotation.

Some behind the scenes #GTA photos, taken probably 1996, at #DMADesign in #Dundee.

My biggest claim to fame is that my name's in the first paragraph of the original #GTA design document. I was in the #DMADesign Design Department, where I worked on many games. For GTA, I came up with ideas, did dialogue polishing and rewriting, and had many a meeting with Brian Baglow (another writer) coming up with daft ideas for it.

Oh, another spike of traffic to my website and it's... #DMADesign again. Has to be connected to the #GTA 25th anniversary next week. GTA and Lemmings is all anyone ever wants to talk to me about. And I'm not helping by mentioning that.
