I always liked this song, but I also wondered why, as both the song and the singer felt stupid, but then (much later) I've learned (yes, it didn't occur to me at all) that, it is actually sampling "Somebody's Watching Me" by #Rockwell.
Apparently, I've actually liked the melody and #Emel's vocals. Bobo later used another girl and I don't like that version at all.

Der dunkle Tag, an dem du dich so sehr in eine vermeintlich schöne Jugendzeit zurücksehnst, dass du es bereust, deine DJ-Bobo-CDs weggeworfen zu haben.
Zu viel Nachrichtenkonsum macht mich immer depressiv-fatalistisch, bzw. nüchtern-realistisch bzgl. der Zukunft dieser menschengemachten Welt.
