At La Locanda del Voltigno we sat down together for dinner, tasted local food and got a proper introduction to arrosticini, including watching how they are traditionally cooked before eating them together.

We walked through its old streets while our guide Vanna shared stories about the town, then reached the highest part just in time for sunset.

First stop of our afternoon in Abruzzo: Tenuta del Priore ππ·
We arrived surrounded by vineyards, countryside and mountains, right in the middle of the grape harvest.
Then a tour of the winery, local food, wine tasting and a long table together before continuing our trip.
