🎶 Oh, look! Another brave soul attempting to reinvent the wheel by crafting a TB-303 from scratch, because, you know, buying one or using software synths is just too mainstream 🙄. Loopmaster's guide is here to ensure you spend countless hours #soldering circuits just to realize you could've been making music instead. 🔧🔊

Built a FM drum by Moritz Klein / Erika Synths today.

Really good kit and I just messed up one resistor on the way. Surprisingly it worked on the first try.

Sounds fits perfectly in my exotic drum rack concept. Solid, well tunable bass drums and lots of percussion material, ideal to fill up some gaps I had.

Might do a short vid on this.

ah Berlin, today i play music under my moniker Gubbiann at Sentimental Punk.

we will make music to a film by Janie Geiser. I play my DIY synth and my no input setup.

there are vibratory chairs for deaf and hard of hearing to experience the music and there will be a haptic tour of the music instruments played for the visual impaired and blind, and probably everybody else.

we look forward to.

edit: link to the event also to give credit to all people involved.

New track “Suertes” was inspired on the tradition of communal forest, where the wood is raffled for the villagers.

There are 2 layers of rhythmic textures from the Liquid Foam and a solo layer from the Tocante.

Please, be careful with the chainsaw.

New track and lyric: Suertes

——

Han repartido las suertes
marchan las hachas al monte
vuelve madera en remolques
manchada de encina y roble

Se amontonan en tu puerta
los troncos y los cordeles,
para hacer los ramilletes
que el próximo invierno prendes

Y alguien pasará a decirte
“la leña calienta tres veces:
Al cortarla, al picarla
y al quemarla mientras duermes”

Brand new stupid mistake #DIYsynths, using antistatic foam as padding. This is measuring a 12v supply, but foam shorting the pins makes it overread. Took a while to solve...
