So when they say "measure twice, cut once" they also assume that you remember and apply basic trigonometry when needed. This board would be long enough if it was putting it along the ledge instead of the stairs, but since the hypotenuse of a triangle is longer than the sides I now need a new board. #DIYFail

Today turned into one of those days you question whether there maybe really IS a deity/deities and why do they all hate you? Short version is I won't be putting a finished mountain bike back together this weekend. Next weekend at best. Much went wrong attempting to finish the paint/clear coat.
