An annual IGDA Finland grant offering €10,000, mentorship and feedback from industry veterans, plus visibility through IGDA Finland and the International Game Developers Association (IGDA®) global network.❔ Why?
Because we’ve all been there, we understand the challenges of starting out in the industry. We believe in a #diverse, #inclusive, and thriving future for Finland’s #gameindustry. <3🎮 Who is it for?
Indie teams in Finland, especially smaller or emerging devs/studios. If you’re self-publishing, looking for visibility, experienced feedback, and aiming to release within a year, this may be for you.🛠 What do you need?
An established company / y-tunnus, a strong team or stellar solo dev, a vertical slice or demo, a solid pitch deck and credible GDD, and at least 50% of the team as IGDA Finland members.⏳ When?
Applications opened on April 14, 2026, and close on June 1, 2026.

3) I have decided to buy USA (for #posterity)Obviously there are a lot of things not required e.g. #Junk politics, Junk Equity, Junk food and of course Junk thinking and mouth pieces.
How is this massive enterprise to be finded and #funded? As always:

In the summer, I give away #secondhandbooks to anyone who comes to my booth at community events. This is a way for me to support access to #diverse #literature during a renewed culture of #bookbans
I believe in doing this for free because not everyone can get certain types of books at their #library or purchase #books for themselves.
But I can't afford to do this by myself. Tabling fees can cost anywhere from $50-$300. Even a dollar would help so much!

Dr. Benjamin Berens, #SECUSO, has begun his visit at ETH Zürich. He will be working with the “Security, Privacy & Society” research group led by Prof. Verena Zimmermann. Between 3 November and 19 December, in addition to Prof. Zimmermann and her team, he will also meet other #researchers at ETH Zürich who focus on #security and #privacy or human #behavior #research in general. During the research visit Dr. Berens, Prof. Zimmermann and Lorin Schöni want to work on their latest project on synthesizing findings across the field of #phishing research. Their work focuses on aggregating results from a #diverse range of studies.
