what have I missed about #DCS #distributedcontrolsystem tech?
how can an algorithm not detect the difference btw. normal line loads and an effect that might indicate shorting caused by foliage across lines?
there are sorts of finer tuned differentiation for a gazillion things already, from lighting systems to auto A/C or elevator congestion systems.
yet, power co's still operate 90's tech, relying on 911 to inform them, when they have the means to know.
