We saved all of the cardboard boxes from the move because I knew we’d eventually be building lots of garden and landscaping beds. I use cardboard because it’s a great temporary weed barrier below mulch/garden which eventually breaks down. Synthetic weed barrier ends up being a huge PITA once the bed inevitably needs refreshed in a few years.
Today, somehow, we ran out of cardboard while mulching the new native garden island. Got roughly maybe 1/2 through. 🤯
