  1. I'm using #dismail as DNS-Server to block Ads and Tracking systemwide on my Android-phone. My router at home has the servers from #digitalcourage and #ffmuc as encrypted DNS-Servers configured.
    But I always ask myself: Can I / we really trust "3rd party" DNS-providers? Theoretically they can log every single request and if you're using a service where you have an account (#Nextdns, '#adguard) they can also be tied to you personally.
    Of course you can use the DNS from your provider, but most likely the traffic is not encrypted and often it's also filtered ("CUII" in Germany).
