Restaurant successes last weekend:

Had the Chicago-style pizza at Japes, delicioussss. So good I'll try their inverse-Chicago fluffy London-style next time.

And went to #Dishoom for lunch, whoo, yeah, different level from my local options, no disrespect. Especially just that taste of the first bite, so nice, and perfect for me in terms of heat; lucky.

(I want to at least obliquely criticize a certain unmentionable aspect of the decor though, which seemed like a weird choice.)

1. Had a proper lie-in today after two AFDs at work 💤

2. Valentine's meal tonight with the missus at #Dishoom 🍛

3. Might have a lunchtime pint while out shopping🍺

Was I very tired after working 7-12 yesterday and then driving from Durham to Edinburgh, and needing to do the return journey this evening as I am back at work first thing tomorrow morning? Yes.
Was it totally worth it? Also yes.
