Was will uns das stylische Cover der Folge 66 sagen? Warum so viel Cinematic & Library Music?

Jazz on a Sunday.
Brandnew release from the key-musicians of the nice French label Q-Sounds recording. Instrumental Jazz with a funky groove and the flute of Ludovic Bors is telling you all about it. This is really hot- I like it. Give it a listen guys! 🔥

Look who's looking...
New in: "Boy" - nice 2022 record from Melbourne artist Harvey Sutherland.
10 top tunes with an electronic bias that go from Jazz to Funk with some "krautish" appeal. And you even can dance to some of them. I love it! 🎧😊

Never mind the return of Graupel & Kälte - die Folge #64 bringt am Freitag den 27.03. den restlichen Schnee zum schmelzen und läutet den Frühling ein. Versprochen!

How super nice is that? And on a Friday the 13th, no less – there are still some good things in this world!
The record dealer from the Netherlands included coloured pencils and a slipmat mandala to colour in, together with this already fantastic record. This is setting new standards in record shipping for sure. 😅
Ok then, I don't want to be disturbed for the next two hours, please. ☺️🖍️
And have a nice weekend, everyone! 🤗

On the turntable this morning: Definitely one of the records I would take with me to the island. 🏝️
The Style Council – Café Bleu from 1984. Full of brilliant Pop songs that never seem to get old. Big love. ❤️

Oh yes, I'm a true fan of this special mix from funk, soul, breaks and jazz that Adam Gibbons has been producing for almost 20 (!) years now. That's why it's "Lack of Afro week" on my record shelf.
(And more is on the way). 🔥

Records always played a significant role in my life. Due to space constraints at home, my collection is divided into three space-sections (picture shows two). It contains Jazz, Funk&Soul, Pop, Punk&NewWave, Electronic, House/Disco, Reggae, Hiphop and Rare Soul 7" records (60s/70s).
It's hard to imagine a life without music. Music helps me cope with the madness of the world, relax and relieve frustration. Vinyl is the special expression of this art.
