CW: Update about Disabled Revolution, my videogame project
I haven't talked about it in forever, but really have to.
For now, the development is on hold. I didn't do much yet, I'm still unsure about many things and my personal life and health require me to take some rest, after some very busy months.
I've lost a lot of my Python knowledge due to huge cognitive dysfunction, but will do my best to get it back.
I am NOT giving up on it, it's just a break because I have to rest

New leak!
#DisabledRevolution will be a game without any violence.
You won't have to fight opponents. As many disabled folks are triggered by violence, I decided there would be none, even if it was part of my initial idea.
Your main and only enemy will be the lack of accessibility, and your purpose will be to make the town more accessible as time goes by, quest after quest.
You won't be alone in this. I want it to remain a chill game, without any pressure on yourself.

Created eleven NPCs for #DisabledRevolution, with a huge focus on the one who'll be the most present in the story.
Plus I already have at least a first quest for each of them!

Each aid now has its definitive attributes! 🎉
No aid should be seen as better than any other, so it was kinda challenging to find the good balance for each one, but I'm really glad I did!

Working on #DisabledRevolution at the moment.
I'm still on the scenario and figuring out how I want the gameplay to be more precisely.
Currently writing about each aid's attributes in a way that makes sense. It's a really fun part!

Let's talk about #DisabledRevolution!
If you've been following me for a while, perhaps you remember when I said it once, but for the others: I will compose all the music by myself!
I've been playing the piano since I was 2 years old approximately, and I'm soon-to-be 25, so yeah.
Music has a really important and special place in my heart, piano and guitar mostly, even if I'd like to learn playing drums and many more at some point.

- Minimap to see where you are and where you have to go
- Suggesting breaks for your eyes after some levels, in case time flies too fast and you need a reminder to rest your eyes
Accessibility support will be available and feedback is always welcome.

- Speech to text / text to speech. Rate control will be available.
- Adjustable audio volume for music, sound effects, ambient noises and voices

- Ability to choose between a few levels of difficulty to fit your needs and have fun the way you want
- Tutorial which will be playable again at any moment, you'll be able to skip it and the cinematics if you prefer
- Controller remapping in the settings (commands will be easily visible at any point in case you don't remember)
- Autosave so you don't forget and lose your progress

It took quite a while, but I'm really satisfied with it now!
Of course I'll add more if I think about something else, but I don't really think so as I've been working on this list for weeks!
I'll listen to your requests starting on Sunday, after posting the list!
I'll implement everything needed, no matter how long it takes.

Since I've been a day late for this week's leak due to health issues, I'm sharing another info, which is kinda obvious tho!
The game will be totally free, without any in-game purchase!
You'll have the ability to contribute with some money, the amount you want, but it won't be required at all. That will be completely optional!
Everyone will be able to have a full access to any of my games freely!

Third leak about #DisabledRevolution 🎉
I made a poll to know what you wanted me to talk about and you chose the story. Here you go:
You'll play a character in a town where disabled folks make a revolution. The government will be ejected and here starts the game!
You'll have to make the city accessible to fulfill NPC's needs. All will be disabled with different illnesses!
Mobility / other aids will all have specific attributes to go through missions and unlock better items and customization!

What are your plans for today?
Mines are half sleeping, half improving my GDScript and write about the game's features. I'll start redacting the script for #DisabledRevolution soon, but then will create a few small games just to being with!

I'm finally writing the scenario and features of my future game called #DisabledRevolution, which will focus on #Accessibility and #Disability! :BoostOK:
It'll be an #IndieGame made by a disabled chronically ill dude for disabled folks, because we lack representation of disability in videogames and everyone should be able to play.
Starting a hashtag for it, so you can follow or mask if you're not interested!
