@heathen I can still hike up Little Mt Doug on foot.
Me, with local Power To Be folks, at summit - when I helped test out a trail rider & train new adaptive recreation assistants from UVIC. It's great for disabled who can't hike anymore BUT it needs able bodied sherpas. I'm seeking something I can use, independently.
Also, Daryl, in gray shirt & toque is my sledge hockey coach(we're still on hiatus due to covid & losing our ice space at Juan de Fuca Rec).

My mobility scooter is being repaired. I'll have it back by first week of September. It's my own fault because I pushed it more than it's actually capable of.
I went 4X4ing - on my mobility scooter. While I made it across a huge field & across several not so flat trails & back home safely - I damaged the undercarriage & one of my back wheels.

#OTD last year. I enjoyed a lovely #RainyDay #hike through #ThetisPark & barely saw other people. It was a heavy rain day. The park was #isolated & gorgeous. I will often venture out when weather is yucky because it's best time to avoid other humans. Most folks don't like hiking unless weather is good & mainly sunny.

October 2021. Trespassed into another abandoned hydro dam in #JordanRiver #backroads . Went in alone as my friend, Evert couldn't fit through the fence hole & he's a fear of heights. Had to edge along fence, gripping on to it & slowly inched my way to the walkway. My friend was freaking out & scared I was going to fall down cliffside.
