My #DisabledSailing association, #AbleSail Victoria secured a funding grant from #SailCanada & now can offer a CANSAIL 1 course at Royal Victoria Yacht Club. I signed up this morning for training in August.
Once I successfully complete CanSail 1, I can take their Can Sail 2 course. These will help me reach my adaptive sailing dreams of competing in a future Mobility Cup regatta.Very grateful for all funding grants & donors for helping Able Sail Victoria with monies needed to keep their programs running. Disabled folks like me wouldn't be able to afford participating if the programs weren't highly subsidized.

These two photos are from training camp (North Saanich) & #BCGames competition(Powell River). Riding Angel, a pure white Quarter/Arabian mix. I rode a big Haflinger, before switching to Angel.
