Jadeite rock outcrop at Clear Creek, near Paicines, California. BLM Clear Creek Management Area is home to many different types of minerals and metals. Jadeite is common, and Mercury and Asbestos (Serpentine) were mined and quarried at CCMA, on a huge scale.
