After the film '#Victim', with #DirkBogarde , 1961, #film was one of the many elements that eventually got being #Lgbt legalised in 1967. This film as well as activism, etc put pressure on the government.
So, enough pressure can force courts and governments to do anything.

Modesty Blaise (1966) is a movie misfire that is still interesting enough to be worth seeing. Nowhere near as good as the novels or comics. All the movie's problems could have been avoided by sacking Joseph Losey as director.
