And we love what Formula Brewing is doing over in Issaquah and we have some great reviews in the next few days of some of their craft beer. Congress Everywhere zum #38C3 & #pflegendeAngehörige im bytespeicher.de #Erfurt

Der 38. Chaos Communication Congress des Chaos Computer Clubs findet vom 27. bis 30. Dezember  in #Hamburg statt.

Der Bytespeicher.de wird traditionell in #Erfurt eine eigene Veranstaltung parallel zum 38C3, den sogenannte Congress Everywhere durchführen. Es ist ein dezentrales Event weltweit, zu dem Hackspaces und andere Einrichtungen einladen, den Congress per Livestream zu verfolgen.

Der CCC ist traditionell seit seinen Ursprüngen in den 80igern ein sehr auf soziale Ideen ausgerichteter Kongress. Daher sehen wir als Zivilgesellschaft für #pflegendeAngehörige hier große Potenziale zur Verbesserung unserer Situation. Wir suchen nach Anregungen. Daher übernehmen wir wieder gern, wie in den Vorjahren, die Rolle des Hosts währende der Veranstaltungen ab 27.12. 9:30 Uhr in der Liebknechtstraße 8 in Erfurt. Danke für das Vertrauen an das Team des zentralen Thüringer Hackspace.

„Ein Stück Code“ mit großem Potenzial für die #Pflege werden wir als Anwendung in der Beta Version Interessierten vorstellen können. Das Tool ist mehrfacher Preisträger, u.a. beim Digitalpreis des Freistaats 2025. Genug der Spoilerei – aber Neugierige dürfen sich melden.

Unix Professionals finden in dieser Zeit auch Ansprechpartner der GUUG e.V. in den Räumen des Congress Everywhere zu den neuesten Plänen der German Unix User Group für 2025 und mit Hinweisen zu Veranstaltungen um #Opensource im nächsten Jahr.

Der Bytespeicher nimmt seit 2013 am Congress Everywhere teil und bietet den Daheimgebliebenen eine kleine Congress-Atmosphäre mit Livestreams und hoffentlich genug Mate. Bringt gern Reste der Festagsverpflegung mit. In der kleinen Küche kann der letzte Entenflügel sogar in den Ofen und Kleinteiliges ist in der Mikrowelle aufwärmbar.

Welche Vorträge laufen werden, hängt von den Besuchern und dem Mehrheitsinteresse ab. Eine Vorauswahl wird in einem Pad gesammelt.
