I am pretty excited to soon start selling a PCB project I created. The Weblink Backpack- I designed around the Xiao ESP32 board, making it easy to connect to a controllable, neon transformer.

The backpack earned its keep when a client wanted their neon to be dimmable but didn’t want to see the knob — while still wanting the knob to be reachable. I realized that I could use my backpack design to bring the dimmer knob to the client's phone.
Since then, these backpacks have become my go to for just about any blinking or dimming design. I have started recommending them to others as the most convenient way to blink tubes except I need to start making them available- hence this video-https://makertube.net/w/gz8BQWatJoeMumnKMjSpJ5
My goal is to partner with my buddy Percy to make these purchasable by anyone through his webstore.

Spaß mit #LED und #Dimmer:
Heute morgen konnte ich eine Lampe, die an einem Dimmer hängt nicht mehr ausschalten. Egal wie oft ich auf den Knopf gedrück habe, die Birne brannte weiter.
Das andere Verhalten war, dass der Dimmer nicht mehr dimmte, sondern nur noch auf zwei Stufen zwischen hell und dunkel schaltete bei Drehbewegung.
Ich hatte dann zu tun und die Lampe brannte durchgehend. Nun wollte ich mir das anschauen und hatte die Vermutung dass warum auch immer der Schalter vlt von LED auf Halogen umgestellt hat. Aber nachdem ich die LED einmal raus und wieder reingedreht habe funktioniert der Dimmer wieder wie erwartet.
Gibt es Erklärungen zu dem Verhalten? -

I also managed to stabilize the driver circuit to reduce the oscillations of the light intensity to less than 0.2% (2 mV, 0.84 lumens), from 72% that the original circuit had 😱. The trick was to add four 22 uF ceramic capacitors in parallel to the LED, and another 10 uF at the potentiometer input.
The goal remains to simulate natural lighting as best as possible, and after all, the sun does not flicker 🤔.
