Ha!! The big ol'wardrobe I bought was successfully wrestled into position, having made it from the room we had space to build it in down the hall and around a few corners. 💪💪
That's with total thanks to my sweetie, who, unlike me, can see geometry. 😁 #dimbulb reprieve!

(No isekai portal was included with purchase, though. Sigh. 😂)

Sigh. I bought a piece of furniture, having measured out the space in the room and checking against the online reported dimensions. Everything was hunky dory.

What I failed to take into account was that to *build* it, given how it went together, you needed an equivalent amount of floor space, in a direct line from its final position.

Guess who forgot to take into account bends in the hallway??
