Dilophosaurus is another case where the bite force was for years, grossly underestimated. The skull appear deceitful frail for the notch in the front of the upper maw, in truth was able to generate a massive force in a compact frame.
That a spinosaurs dragged big animals in the rivers along being an active fisher, is pretty much a plausible scenario in my accounts. -
