(1/2) Hier zeigt sich vor allem: Die Menschen, die im Kieler Rathaus Verwaltungsarbeit machen und die, die Digitalisierung machen, sind leider noch immer nicht dieselben.
Ein #DigitalFirst Mindset scheint sich bei den Führungskräften und Beschäftigten in der Fläche noch nicht gebildet zu haben. Man "lässt digitalisieren" und dafür sind dann andere (wie die Stabsstelle Digitalisierung) zuständig - aber nicht man selbst.
Dieses Zuständigkeitsdenken hatten wir 2019/2020 bei Aufbau der Stabsstelle erkannt und ich finde es bemerkenswert, dass es dem CDO es seitdem offenbar nicht gelungen ist, das signifikant zu verändern.
Vermutlich, weil er selber weiterhin nur auf eine von zwei möglichen Strategien setzt:

Die Bahn mag einfach nicht das ich Tickets kaufe.
Gestern wurde die Kreditkarte abgelehnt, ohne ne hilfreiche Fehlermeldung. Hab dann widerwillig SEPA probiert, das brauchte dann ne extra Verifizierung(!?) die ich nicht möchte.
Heute dann nochmal probiert - Der Zug ist natürlich ein paar Euro teurer geworden.
Geht aber auch nicht wegen dieser schönen Fehlermeldung. -

The #Canadian federal government announces that they're pivoting to being "digital first" and "digital by design".
The newly appointed Citizens' Services minister, Terry Beech pointed out that being digital first doesn't mean there won't be in-person services but people can get services completely online.
He said that in the near future Canadians wouldn't need to go to the Passport Office to get their passports renewed.

@badams @johnmu I find a big difference between #digitalFirst people and the mass market is that we're not afraid of making a choice/picking an option and dealing with the consequences or working out how to fix or change it.
Many people I know won't click a button unless they are SURE it won't break things. 'It says "do you want to add to cart?" what do I do?' - heard too often...
