  1. Yesterday, we ran another experiment in the EU Democracy Campus.

Young people from different countries entered the same virtual space to test what happens when participation has an architecture: rooms for memory, debate, crisis, reflection, and imagining what comes next.

The most interesting part was not the VR.
It was watching democracy become something young people could practise together.

  2. 🌍 Digital tools are helping us understand big global issues like climate change and the economy in a simple way. With maps and charts, we can see what is happening around the world in real time.

These tools make learning easier and help students think better about real-world problems. 📊🌱

  3. A learning space can feel like “content” or like somewhere people can actually meet.

In Youth4Peace, we built the EU Democracy Campus as a VR space where young people could explore memory, disagreement, crisis, dialogue, and democratic futures together.

    Technology doesn't solve democracy.

But a well-designed space can help people practise it.

I'm not sure what I think about this.

On the one hand, I immediately feel wary when I hear conservatives talking about "back to basics" in education, while on the other I suspect that more consideration needs to be given to the possible downsides of the digital classroom.
