Nothing like going to SIGGRAPH to feel both old (which is fine - I am) but also the warm glow of éminence grise-ness (not a phrase, I know).

My first SIGGRAPH was 1987 when I was working at NCSA.

I worked for the late, great Nancy St. John, who literally introduced me to everyone (you could still do that back then).

Such a gift that I still get to go for work.

Interesting things about starting to use a CO2 monitor: baseline downtown LA outside on the street seemed to hover around 500 ppm. On the other hand hotel room seems to hover around 1200ppm. So I would like to think that #DigiPro ventilation was actually pretty good
