Room and robot were exported from #DAZStudio to #Blender using #Diffeomorphic, I did some shader conversions (glass for example needs manual work) and added Blender lighting. The render then got some postwork in Photoshop.

She could not believe that the population of this backwater planet was actually dumb enough to entrust their lives and planet to this abomination. Everything about it was artificial and nothing intelligent. Unfortunately this thing was so deeply ingrained in everything on this planet, to deactivate it would mean certain doom for the inhabitants. But there had to be a way to end this reign of AI terror. She would find it.

Here is my second video about #Diffeomorphic. Diffeomorphic is an addon for #Blender and a script for #DAZStudio that allows you to import DAZ assets into Blender - and it works far better then the official #DAZ2Blender bridge. Plus Diffeomorphic is open source and free to use.

An experiment that may be interesting for some. I exported a dungeon scene from #DAZ to #Blender using the #Diffeomorphic plugin. I then sent the scene from Blender to #D5Render did a little light adjustments with the candles and added some fake lights, because everything was too dark.

Then a little postwork in Photoshop.

After installing #Diffeomorphic yesterday, I did a quick test with a #DAZ environment imported into #Blender using the addon. This is simply amazing, it is so much better than the official #DAZ2Blender bridge, it's baffling.

Diffeomorphic: Amazing Addon to export from DAZ Studio to Blender

If like me you wanted to migrate a scene from #DAZStudio to #Blender you know what a mess the official Blender bridge is. It has multiple problems, feels like a beta version after all  these years and you have to do a lot of additional work in Blender. Especially the shader setup is really convoluted.

But there is help: #Diffeomorphic is an open source solution containing a #DAZ script and a Blender #addon. It's crazy flexible and relatively easy to install.

When using it there certainly is a learning curve, but it's features are amazing and beats the official bridge in every aspect.
