it's dies saturni, and it's overcast and rainy where i live, but a balmy enough 37F (3C) to melt the snow. saturn tells us to seek and learn and, sometimes, to mope. i've had a mopey week, and the moping has felt recuperative, but i'm also tired of it!! saturn can have this one last day, but i'm changing gears after that.

i'm having the sleepiest day. my mood is okay, but i'm just so tired. like the sleepy girl in "wayside school," with the eyelashes?
today is saturn's day. in the hand, saturn, your middle finger, represents melancholy and intellect. to be saturnine. but saturn, the god, also represents renewal in intervals. we may feel sad, low energy, and depleted, but we will reemerge.
in that sense, a nap is an ideal saturday.
